On October 4, join Growing Chefs for From Farms to Forks, a signature kitchen party celebrating 20 years of connecting chefs, growers, producers, and communities through food education.
Our support of Growing Chefs is part of our ongoing Reservation by Donation program, first introduced at Anh and Chi in 2020 and now also offered at Good Thief. Guests can donate $10 per person to reserve a table, with 100% of donations going directly to a rotating selection of local charities.
To date, our guests have helped Anh and Chi and Good Thief raise and donate over $500,000 to registered charities, including $17,540 to Growing Chefs, supporting their work connecting kids and communities with healthy, sustainable, and culturally relevant food.

For the event, Anh and Chi will be serving our take on Bánh khọt — a Southern Vietnamese crispy rice and coconut milk cake traditionally topped with shrimp and scallion oil. Our version will feature local East Coast lobster from Intercity Packers, alongside pickled vegetables and herbs sourced from local farms connected with Growing Chefs.
Good Thief will also be creating a signature cocktail pairing to complement the dish.
Taking place at A-OK Commissary at Aritzia’s Vancouver headquarters, the evening brings together some of B.C.’s celebrated chefs, local growers, and food producers for an unforgettable night of tasting plates, drinks, live music, and community.
