Good Thief's 'Turo Turo' Filipino-inspired Fundraising Dinner with Ono Vancouver Feb 24
The Filipino community has been in our hearts and on our minds for nearly a year, and we deeply want to extend our love and support through a fundraiser benefiting survivors and families and friends of the victims of the April 26, 2025 tragedy.
On Tuesday February 24, Good Thief is hosting a Filipino-inspired dinner collaboration and fundraiser with community leader and Ono Vancouver's Chef TJ Conwi & Janice Quinto, along with Good Thief's rising stars Chef Cara Licab and Chef Kenji Nguyen.
Join us for an evening celebrating the many contributions of the Filipino community in BC through food, wine, cocktails, 50/50 draw & silent auction - all proceeds will go directly to survivors of the Filipino community.
What is 'Turo Turo"?
"Turo Turo" = Traditional Filipino dining which means “point point” (fun fact: also a traditional and modest way of eating in Vietnamese culture!)
For one night only, experience the authentic tradition of filipino dining with some of Vancouver's best chefs and community leaders, where we will come to the table with all of the mains on a terracotta “palayok” vessels and you can pick tableside!
